Claukendl, nov 10, 2015: hey guys. i’ve followed a suggestion to try optimizing my apps this morning, and now i’m stuck in a bootloop. after turning the phone back on it says “android is starting…” and “optimizing app x of xx,” then i see the cyanogen screen but nothing happens afterwards.. Installed on my wife's oneplus cm12.1 clean install. the phone was rooted. indtalled xposed. now i can't restart normaly. i must restart 2-3 times until it boots. but when it boots its always goes to "android is starting optimizing app # of #" and it takes good 15-20 minutes as there are 175 apps on it. tried clean cache and dalvic.. Oneplus’ oxygen os is built from stock android, but these issues seem restricted to its phones. today, we take a look at some ways to fix oneplus optimize apps issue. starting with android 5.0 lollipop, google moved to a new runtime called art (short for android runtime)..
One of the best ways to make your oneplus device free from optimizing app issue is to wiping the cache partition. this process takes few minutes and hopefully your device will be out of the optimizing app issue. follow these steps to wipe cache partition – make sure to bring your phone into the recovery mode.. "android is upgrading, and afterwards it came optimizing application 1 of 158", later came as starting apps then tecno will come and the upgrading starts again for more than 24 hours. i need a solution to stop it and have access to the phone. i cant do anything with the phone so please give me the right solution. When titaniumbackup has trouble restoring an app or apps then that .apk(s) are/is the issue. i found out mine was zedge because it was having trouble restoring. after it somehow installed i rebooted and the 'optimizing app 1 of 1' screen appeared so i rebooted into recovery to delete zedge from /data/app/..
