The reason banking and other financial apps don't work on a rooted device is for the potential of private information being obtained by other apps or users with root permissions. like it or not, there is no denying that having a rooted devices can potentially have security and privacy concerns, even if only in theory.. Just like any other app download, you will need your apple id and password to download it. what about open wi-fi networks? we would recommend that you do not connect to open wi-fi networks. it is far more secure through a 3/4g device or through a secure wi-fi network at home or within the bank's branch. what would my bank think about this?. Santander online banking login not working into my mobile app, but to no avail. i even uninstalled and reinstalled the app and nothing works. won’t let me log in. closed all other apps.
